Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)

NDT Capabilities

We offer a full range of on-site NDT inspections, including:

● Liquid (fluorescent) penetrant
● Magnetic particle

Certified Inspection Methods

Our NDT department is certified to perform the following processes in accordance with
applicable standards and manufacturer test procedures:

● Liquid Penetrant: ASTM E1417; T9074-AS-GIB-010/271; T.O. 33B-1-1
● Magnetic Particle: ASTM E1444; T9074-AS-GIB-010/271; T.O. 33B-1-1
● Eddy Current: ASTM E1537; T9074-AS-GIB-010/271; T.O. 33B-1-1
● Ultrasonic Testing: ASTM E2154; ASTM E114; ASTM E587; ASTM E2375; T9074-AS-GIB-010/271; T.O. 33B-1-1

On-site and Limited Field Support

Most inspections are completed on site. We also have limited capability to perform
select NDT inspections off site and directly on the aircraft, depending on the scope and
access.

Repair Station Documentation and Return to Service

Our NDT department operates within our repair station and can provide inspection
results with RTS (Return to Service) documentation, as applicable.
